What are the most popular stay and play resorts in Europe?

In Spain there are lots of stay and play resorts including the popular La Cala Resort in the Costa Del Sol, La Finca Golf Resort in Alicante, and La Manga Resort in Murcia. Portugal has plenty of options too including the NAU Hotel range in the Algarve which offer all inclusive.

Can I play multiple courses on a stay and play golf break?

Yes you can – many resorts have multiple courses on-site including the likes of El Rompido Golf Resort in the Costa De La Luz, and Praia D’El Rey in Lisbon which now has the new West Cliffs course – some courses such as La Cala, La Finca, La Maga and Mar Menor have at least 3 courses either on-site or serviced by a free golf shuttle. If course variety is key then there are lots of options!

Can I stay on an all inclusive board basis?

Many resorts offer all inclusive as an option – this is often a great choice for groups whom are looking to control their budget. Half board (breakfast & evening meal) and semi all inclusive (breakfast, evening meal and open bar in the evening) are also options worth exploring, especially if the resort is in a secluded location. In the UK, all inclusive is rarely an option however Dinner, Bed and Breakfast is very popular – it is essentially the same as half board!
