About The Bay Course
The Bay Course at Costa Navarino is located at the Navarino Bay development and offers fantastic sea views and a different test to the neighbouring Dunes Course. Established in 2011, the 18 holes par 71 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and plays 5614 metres from the Championship Tees.
The Navarino Bay offers tranquil views and is the key feature to the famous 17th hole. With the Bay running down the right-hand side of the hole waiting to swallow a wayward drive or even approach, a bogey on this hole is certainly nothing to be disappointed about.
The course also moves from Seaside holes to “Canyon” holes, offering elevated tees and a bigger need for strategic play over brute force with the driver.
The Grove section of The Bay Course at Costa Navarino plays through over 1,000 mature olive trees, some of which are over 500 years old. Mountain views are on offer and provide a great contrast to the Seaside and Canyon Holes. Players are even encouraged to sample the ripe fruit from trees!
