Accommodation is available at a choice of on site 1 and 2 bed Standard and Deluxe apartments. Both the Standard and Deluxe feature a fully equipped kitchen and terrace, air conditioning and satellite television.
The Deluxe Apartments provide a Jacuzzi and barbecue to really make the most of your time away from the course as well as electronic shutters for added security.
The Ocean Course at Vale Do Lobo runs in parallel to a nature reserve and leads down to the Atlantic Ocean, making this one of the Algarve’s most beautiful golf courses. The 18 holes are designed by Sir Henry Cotton who designed the first nine holes in 1968 and the second just four years later in 1972. The two were joined together in 1995 after his death.
The Royal Course is regarded by many as the better of the two courses and a former host of the Portuguese Open (2003). Designed by American Architect Rocky Roquemore, this is considered a challenging golf course but definitely a tick off the bucket list. The hole to look out for here is the iconic 16th which is a Par 3 that features a stunning cliff-top view and is one of the most photographed holes in European golf. This is definitely one to capture on your camera! And whilst you are at it, take a snap of the almost island green on the 9th!
