Designed by Pepe Gancedo in 1987 and remodelled by Manuel Piñero in 2005, Golf del Sur is an 18-hole championship course set in the rolling countryside of southern Tenerife. Divided into two loops of nine holes — Links and North — the course winds through volcanic terrain and native vegetation, offering both beauty and challenge.
The Links Course overlooks the ocean, with holes 4 and 5 featuring water hazards that test accuracy and focus. Hole 5, a 330-metre par 4, is particularly memorable thanks to its elevated tee and panoramic views. The North Course adds further intrigue, especially on holes 3 and 4, which trace an ochre canyon that invites strategic play and bold shot-making.
