Golf Club de Louvain-la-Neuve In Brabant-Wallon Has As Stunning Backdrop In the Lauzelle Woods
The course is gently undulating with the Lauzelle woods forming a background that makes it one of the most attractive courses to play on in the area. The recent planting of trees has reduced the “open” feel that the course used to have and as they mature the course will become harder to play. There are one or two water hazards that come into play especially on the short par four seventeenth hole and the par five eighteenth which makes for a good finish to the round. The rest of the courses defenses are good greenside bunkering and some well positioned fairway bunkers. Overall this is a very good “resort” style course offering a good challenge in pleasant surroundings but not one that will see you pulling your hair out as to how difficult it is. It is an easy course to walk round.
If you are looking to eat either before or after your round you have the choice of two restaurants to choose from. There is the comfortable Le Clocheton restaurant or the Italian restaurant that is situated in a chalet next door to the practice area. The clubhouse is a delightful place to relax and unwind after your round.
If your game is a little off this is the place to come as there is an excellent Golf Academy on site as well as a driving range, chipping and putting greens.
