The Martin’s Brussels EU hotel is as its name implies in the centre of this vibrant city. It is a modern four star hotel within easy walking distance of the cities commercial district and the many tourist attractions that there are to discover. It is close to the Schuman metro station and the European Parliament building but you can easily walk to the Cathedral of St. Michael and the famous Belgium Museum Of Fine Art.
There are four different room standards and one hundred rooms in total. All are decorated in a modern style to give a contemporary feel that manages to be both elegant and restful. It has all the amenities you would expect from a four star city centre property. There is an excellent restaurant that serves contemporary food with a Belgian twist and if you are a fan of waffles this is the place to be. If you overindulge there is a fitness club where you can work off the excess calories.
Situated just a short drive from the city centre is the Brabantse Golf Course and its well worth a visit. Opened in 1982 its set in an estate with a castle as its centrepiece and the Floordambos Forest as a backdrop its visually a joy to play. Its fairly flat but can be challenging as many of the fairways are lined with trees and the greens are well protected by clever bunkering. From the back tees its 6500 yards but there are several different teeing grounds so you make the course as difficult or as easy as you want but whichever tee you play from don’t just bang away with a driver it’s a course that makes you think your way round.
The clubhouse is next to the Castle and has a great selection of beers to enjoy after the round.
