About Sol Marbella Atalaya Park Resort, Puerto Banus
Set between Marbella and Estepona and just a short drive from Puerto Banús, Sol Marbella Atalaya Park Resort is a beachfront haven built for golfers and sunseekers alike.
Surrounded by tropical gardens with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, this spacious and welcoming resort offers the ideal mix of coastal relaxation and championship golf – all in one unbeatable location.
Golf courses
Sol Marbella Atalaya Park is perfectly positioned next to one of the region’s best-loved golf venues: Atalaya Golf & Country Club, home to two fantastic courses.
Atalaya Old Course, designed by Bernard von Limburger, is a classic parkland course known for its generous fairways and mature trees. With a par of 72 and measuring 6,800 yards, it’s a forgiving yet satisfying round for players of all levels.
Atalaya New Course, crafted by Paul Krings, is slightly shorter at 6,482 yards but presents a more technical challenge with tighter fairways and stunning mountain views. It also plays to a par of 72 and offers a great contrast to its older sibling.
A short drive away, Valle Romano Golf, designed by Cabell B. Robinson, adds a championship-calibre option to your itinerary. This 7,218-yard, par 71 course offers wide fairways, elevated tees and dramatic views – perfect for mixing things up during your stay.
Accommodation
The rooms at Sol Marbella Atalaya Park are light-filled and designed for easy living, with simple contemporary style and private balconies or terraces. Many offer sea or garden views, so you can wake up to sunshine and birdsong before heading out for your tee time.
Whether travelling solo, as a couple or with a group, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable, relaxed golf break.
Facilities
The resort is packed with facilities to help you unwind after a day on the course. Choose from multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, or take a walk down to the beachfront promenade.
There’s a buffet restaurant serving up a fresh and varied international menu, plus bars where you can grab a drink and toast the day’s play as the sun goes down.
Other things to do
When you’re not out on the fairways, there’s plenty to explore. The glamour and energy of Puerto Banús are just minutes away, where you can enjoy boutique shopping, waterside dining and buzzing nightlife.
