Lauro Golf, Malaga

Lauro Golf is a par 72 course split over 27 holes that can be played in three different combinations.

Designed by the late Folco Nardi, it’s been carefully constructed to bring out the surrounding nature. Often during a round at Lauro Golf you can see rabbits, ducks, partridges, herons, and on occasion eagles. These animals thrive in the micro climate created by the thousands of trees planted around the course.

The course at Lauro Golf is one which requires careful selection of clubs but it’s been designed so that it’s not too difficult for higher handicappers to enjoy if club selection is right.

The club house at Lauro Golf is set in an old Andalucian building, Cortijo el paredón. Here you will find the bar and restaurant, ample changing facilities with locker rooms, and a pro shop with the latest equipment in.

As well as a club house there are a number of other facilities including a swimming pool, a padel tennis club, lawn bowls club and an equestrian centre. At the centre of the cortijo sits a beautiful patio, with large rubber plant in the middle offering a break from the sunshine for golfers enjoying refreshments after a game of golf.
