There are two very different and contrasting golf courses on-site at Emporda Hotel And Golf Resort. You wouldn’t expect to find a Scottish-style links course in Spain but you will here. The Links, as it’s called, winds through sand dunes and lakes with water featuring on at least 12 of the holes. The Forest course, as its name suggests, is more parkland in nature with pine trees providing the main hazard as the fairways wind through the forest producing some seriously good golf holes. Water does play a part but not as often as on the Links course and overall its easy to see why this is regularly ranked as one of Spain’s top ten courses.
