The Oxfordshire Golf Club And Hotel
Just over an hour from central London is The Oxfordshire Golf Club and Hotel, home to a stunning 18-hole golf course with an attached boutique hotel and spa.
This Rees Jones designed golf course opened in 1993 and features 135 bunkers and four lakes. A round here means you’ll be following in the footsteps of some of the finest players to ever grace the game including Seve Ballesteros, Colin Montgomerie, Nick Faldo and Darren Clarke.
Away from the course the hotel has 46 tastefully decorated rooms, a beautiful bar to unwind in, delicious restaurant for dining, and an on-site spa with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, three treatment rooms, and fully equipped gym.

Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel And Country Club
Renowned for hosting horse racing, Lingfield Park is also home to an 18-hole golf course and hotel. The 116 rooms have views over the racecourse or the golf course. Located close to Gatwick Airport in Surrey and surrounded by beautiful green countryside, this is a great destination for a weekend away.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club
Located in the beautiful Kent countryside, just 30 miles from London, Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club has everything you need for the perfect golf break.
The on-site par 70 golf course was designed by Donald Steel. Stretching 6085 yards, it has 18 holes and is laid out in a typical parkland style.
Away from the fairways, the hotel has an on-site spa facility, indoor swimming pool, gym and a fabulous restaurant, the Cast Iron Grill, which serves a menu based on locally sourced ingredients.

This golf hotel is in Hampshire, just 90 minutes drive from central London. This golf resort has a 27 hole layout split into three loops of 9: The Park, The Woods and The Lakes. Each offers great variety – perfect if you plan on staying a couple of nights.
Accommodation is provided by the lovely on-site four star hotel. Many of the 39 rooms offer views of The Woods golf course, while the Kingsclere Restaurant & Bar serves lunch and dinner in a relaxed and informal setting.

Old Thorns Hotel & Resort
Just under 90 minutes from central London, Old Thorns Hotel & Resort is a fantastic complex set in the Hampshire countryside. Everything you need is here – whether you fancy hitting the fairways all weekend or combining your golf game with a spa break, you won’t be disappointed by Old Thorns.
The course was originally commissioned to John Harris to design. However, after his death, the responsibility was passed to legendary golf commentator Peter Alliss and course architect Dave Thomas. The first round of golf ever played at Old Thorns was by Seve Ballesteros, Jack Nicklaus, Bill Rogers & Isao Aoki in a four ball – so you have excellent footsteps to follow. The course features a variety of water hazards and woodland, with tricky greens to challenge players of any level.
The four star hotel has 160 bedrooms and 51 luxury apartments to choose from, depending on your preference. You can also enjoy a range of treatments in the Spa, dive into the indoor swimming pool, or work out in the gymnasium.
When it comes to dining and refreshments, you have plenty to choose from, including the Kings Restaurant, Sports Bar, Oties Cafe, and Atrium Cocktail Bar – perfect for a late night tipple.
