The golf course opened in 1987 and at 6500 yards with a par of 72, it is a challenging test. Nick Faldo designed the course and routed the holes through mature trees making the most of the slightly undulating terrain. It has staged several PGA tournaments and is a gem of a parkland course with strategic bunkering and the use of streams and lakes to test the golfer.
