Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed this beautiful coastal golf course on the Balearic island of Mallorca after being asked to by Hans-Peter Porsche whom purchased the land in 1985 and endured 13 years of planning permission and license negotiation before development could start in 1998, finally opening its doors to the public and members in 2003 after three years of construction.

However, the result is worth the wait as this course features stunning views from the majority of holes of the lighthouse which sits just off the coast, as well as the sea and surrounding mountains.

  • Par: 72
  • Length: 6559m

San Roque (Old Course)

Former host of the Spanish Open in 2005 as well as hosting 15 consecutive European Tour Schools from 1993 to 2007 and their former chairman of the club being the legendary Seve Ballesteros, there is so much heritage attached to this golf club.

The clubhouse here is stunning, sculpted in the classic white Andaluscian style and nestled across 340 acres of stunning scenery. The quality on the course is matched by the service off it as this course is managed by Troon Golf.

With apartment accommodation on-site at Las Colinas Residences, these deals to stay and play at Las Colinas Golf are fantastic value as they reduce the need for golf transfers which reduce the cost as well as providing self-catering facilities.

The first two are 18 holes whilst the ruin is a 9-hole track, all of which are excellent. However, it’s the Lakes we love the best here at Glencor Golf and the one we have added to our list of top Spanish golf courses.
