About Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos, Cyprus

Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos Is The Ideal Destination For A Luxury All Inclusive Golf Break In Cyprus

The Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos is a purpose-built luxury all-inclusive resort close to Paphos that opened in 2015. Its set right on the beach front which means that some of the 276 bedrooms have amazing views whilst others have views over the gardens.

All the rooms have a terrace and the rooms are large enough to have twin beds or a large double bed and have all the facilities you would expect from a five-star Resort. Air Conditioning, free WiFi Satellite TV Fully fitted bathrooms and a desk and seating area are standard in them.

There are five different restaurants on site to take advantage of the all-inclusive package. Whatever your taste you are sure to find something of interest. Each restaurant offers a different style so you can eat American Food in the Rock and Roll Diner, Pan Asian food, Italian and Greek Cuisine and fine dining from the a la Carte menu in the Captains Table restaurant. There are also numerous bars to enjoy the vast array of drinks on offer.

Water is a major feature of the Resort as there are four outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool and if you want to keep fit there is a well-equipped gym, various aerobic classes and numerous sporting activities on offer. If relaxation is more your scene then you won’t be disappointed with the excellent Spa complex.

There are four golf courses within reasonable travelling distance of the Resort with the Aphrodite Hills golf course probably the best known. This is one of the best courses on the Island and  Cabell  Robinson who designed the course took advantage of the rolling landscape to provide a nearly 7000 yard challenge from the back tees featuring lush Bermuda grass fairways, large tiered greens and challenging pot bunkers. The Secret Valley golf course as its name suggests runs through a valley surrounded by mature trees and rock formations. Tony Jacklin was involved in its design and with six different teeing areas its an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities.

The Elea golf course was designed by Sir Nick Faldo who has taken advantage of the natural features that has created a par 71 gem that should be played by all visitors to the Island. Finally, Minthis Golf Club has undergone extensive renovations since opening in 1994 when this Donald Steel design was the first course to pen on the Island and is probably the most playable of the four courses. The outstanding hole is the 14th where you have around 165 yards from the tee to an Island Green.
