Other Things To Do In Belek

All of the golf resorts in Belek are huge complexes which offer an all-inclusive board basis with access to numerous restaurants and bars within each site – they really do make the effort to provide enough facilities and choices so that you don’t need to leave the resorts. This includes stunning Spa’s, access to private beach clubs, gyms, and incredible sports facilities, some resorts even have cinemas and nightclubs!

However, should you wish to venture away from your accommodation or the fairways, you can visit the nearby city of Antalya which is approximately 40 minutes away. This features the district of Kaleici, a seafront historic town which dates back to Roman times. This area is littered with narrow streets where you can meander through quirky shops and discover old Mosques.

Whilst in Antalya you can also check out Lower Duden Waterfalls (a great choice to explore via a boat trip), Antalya Muzesi (which explains the beginnings of the region), and Perge Ancient City which features the arch of a Roman Gate as well as an amphitheatre.

As you would expect from any big city that is brimming with tourists, Antalya offers plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore.

Top 5 Travel Tips For Your Belek Golf Holiday

  • Embrace All-Inclusive Board Basis: This particular destination offers all-inclusive as standard so it’s great for groups who want to budget all their costs upfront. Many resorts offer the all-inclusive concept in the clubhouse of their affiliated golf course too so make sure you ask us specifically which ones!
  • 8 Is The Magic Number: Many resorts offer a free place for every seven paying guests. So if you are able to travel in multiples of 8 then this is the most cost-effective way of playing in Belek!
  • Book Early For Prime Tee Times: With just over a dozen courses in the region, it is incredibly popular in peak season. Compare this to the Costa Del Sol which has over 70 courses, you can see that tee times can become scarce. We recommend booking at least 12 months in advance, especially for those in a large group.
  • Play Courses Associated To Your Resort: Resorts either own or have an affiliation with one or two golf courses which are then bundled in their packages. As a resident of that resort you get access to prime tee times of the affiliated golf course (assuming availability) as well as heavily discounted green fees. However, adding in other courses associated with other resorts will increase your price dramatically and not give you access to prime tee time slots which will be reserved for their own residents.
  • Explore Beyond Peak Season: Turkey’s climate is warmer than most European destinations so it’s still possible to play in sunny weather in November and even early December, which is a much cheaper time of year to travel than September and October or Spring.
